This is Northernary

What happens when you put together a group of people from different musical genres? 

The answer is the band – with the somewhat difficult-to-pronounce name – Northernary. 

A rather far-fetched pun on the words: "not so ordinary", considering our background, plus the fact that we are from "the north". Sort of! 

Anyway – we are the proof of that music can really unite people of different ages, professions, musical styles, gender, religion, and probably a thousand other things. The unexpected mix of band members means that we have found an identity where we have united our different musical roots in pop, rock, soul, jazz and blues. We see this musical breadth as our strength. We want to play groovy and catchy music that should be easy to absorb even if you have not heard the song before.
